Many hifidealers use a referens amp for quality assurance of speakers. But not Arild Berget, owner of Hifi-Guiden, Hamar in Norway. Not any longer. After playing his Larsen 9 OA-speakers with different amps he decided to change his quality assurance process. So he now use the L9 as a quality assurance tool against his amps. With a reference sound in his ears Arild know what he want to hear when he is playing different amps. “I have had many big moments in my life as a hifi dealer. One of these was when I first listened to Larsen 9 in my own environment” Arild told John when he gave him feed-back on the first trial in Hamar. So, for the moment no other speakers are welcome in “The Larsen Room”.
